South Elevation Facade Repair

The 1240 North Lake Shore Drive building is a 34-story rectangular residential tower, accompanied by an adjacent garage structure. Constructed using conventionally reinforced concrete, the tower features vertical tiers of aluminum-framed windows, fluted brick masonry infill panels, and exposed concrete columns and floor slabs.

The facade work was located on the south elevation of the residential tower:

  • As-necessary repairs at deteriorated portions of concrete and sealant

  • As-necessary brick replacement

  • Window sealant replacement

  • 100% painting of exposed concrete elements
